London Bridge, Borough, Waterloo and the Old Kent Road

Tooley Street follows the river from London Bridge station to Tower Bridge Road, and most of SE1 hangs off one bridge approach or another.

Bridge approaches and station traffic

Borough High Street and Tower Bridge Road both feed bridge traffic south, one bus behind another. Round Waterloo the taxis, coaches and drop-offs share the same stretch of kerb. Elephant and Castle is the big junction at the bottom, and the Old Kent Road carries the A2 away from it. Much of this is red route, so a flat usually means a car stopped where it is not allowed to sit.

Hospital and station car parks are the realistic places to stop; on the red routes, move into a side street or a bay first.

Send the street and which bridge you came off. In SE1 that narrows it down quickly.
