Tunnel traffic and the old docks
The tunnel is narrow, with tight bends and nowhere to pull over, and whatever goes wrong inside it comes out onto Jamaica Road and Lower Road. Canada Water and Surrey Quays are new blocks, the shopping centre and car parks round the old docks, with Surrey Docks beside them. Southwark Park sits between Jamaica Road and Lower Road. South Bermondsey is further south, round The Den (Millwall FC) and the railway arches off Ilderton Road.
