Brockley Road is a bus route with parked cars on both sides, so a car stopped in the lane holds up everything behind it. At Brockley Cross the corners are tight and the kerbs take a beating. Towards Crofton Park the road rises into Brockley Rise, and the side streets off it get steeper.
