The A205 and a busy high street
Well Hall Road is wide and heavy with South Circular traffic. Eltham High Street is buses and parked cars, the shops tight to the kerb. Eltham Palace sits back on Court Yard behind its moat and gardens. Court Road runs south to Mottingham, and the estates at Middle Park (Eltham) and Coldharbour (Eltham) are speed humps and tight turns. Avery Hill and New Eltham make up the east side, round the park and the university campus.
