Kirkdale comes down the hill from Forest Hill into Sydenham. Sydenham Road is the shopping street, buses and short bays. At the east end it reaches the Bell Green junction, where Perry Hill comes down to meet it: Bell Green Retail Park is the big car park there, and Lower Sydenham is beyond it round the station.
